What payment options are available?
Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Credit cards are collected and processed via SSL secured method.

I live outside the United States. Can I still place an order?
Jewelry is shipped worldwide from the US.
Very limited areas do not allow shipments from the United States or are not available if you purchase via Paypal. If there is a problem with your order, you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss options or to offer a refund.


Can I have my international order listed as a gift for customs?
No. Orders may be subject to import fees or tax and it is the responsibility of the customer to pay them as required by the laws governing your country. Elena Adams Designs takes no responsibility for these fees and cannot list packages as gifts to avert the law.

Do you charge sales tax?
If you live within California, 8.25% sales tax will be added to your total order, including shipping charges.

What is my card identification code?
On a Visa or Mastercard the identification code is the last three numbers on the back of the card in the signature panel.

I have questions about my credit card statement or final charges.
Credit card purchases placed on this website will show up from Elena Adams, or PAYPALElena Adams if you paid with a credit card cia PayPal. The final total should reflect the amount in your order receipt unless you have been contacted about an error, or have made changes to your order by emailing info@elena-adams.com.
Please DO NOT reverse the charges before emailing elena at elena-adams.com or calling 650 283 8650 to discuss your statement. Incorrect fee reversal is terribly time consuming for me and I will do everything I can to resolve the situation before you should resort to it.

How much is shipping?
Domestic USA: USPS Priority Mail - $8.50

International: Global Priority Mail - $25

When will I receive my order?
Orders ship within 3-4 business days. Many pieces are made to order and if you have made special requests or customizations your order may take longer. If there are other delays you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Transit times:
USPS Priority Mail - 2-5 days off peak
International Global Priority Mail - 1-2 weeks - no tracking is available on international orders

Note: these shipping times do not include time the 3-4 business days preparing your order. Orders placed around peak dates like Christmas and public holidays will take longer and are beyond my control.

How do I find the status of my order or track my order?
Domestic USA orders will receive a USPS tracking number via email. Click the link in your email or go to usps.com and enter the tracking number. Tracking is not available on international orders.
If you have status questions before you receive a tracking number or don't receive updated information, contact me for information.

Is there a minimum order amount?
There is no minimum purchase size, but remember domestic USA orders over $100 receive free shipping.

Refund and Exchange Policy
Jewelry may be exchanged within 60 of purchase. You may exchange the jewelry for something else on the site, or have the existing purchase modified to match you preferences. Additional charges will apply to modifications along with additional shipping.
If you are exchanging your jewelry you must pay for any additional price. If you select a piece of lesser value a refund will be given.

Full returns are only accepted if items are faulty. An exchange or repair may be offered to you first. Please be aware that every gemstone is unique and yours will not necessarily be that from the picture. Due to supply, some ear hooks and clasps may vary slightly to that pictured, although decorative pieces will always match.

Discounted and clearance items are final sale.

To initiate a return or exchange you must contact me for the return shipping address and to discuss the issue. Unsolicited returns will not be accepted.

Warranty Policy
All jewelry comes with a free one year warranty against damage through normal wear. Postage is non-refundable.
To claim a repair, please contact me for the return address. Ship your jewelry, preferably in the gift box in which it came, in strongly padded packaging. It is highly recommended that you insure the shipment for the retail value of the jewelry.

I'm shipping my order as a gift. Will it include the receipts?
Under Requests and Customizations in the cart note that you are shipping your purchase as a gift, the name of the recipient, and include a gift note if you would like.
Be sure to include separate billing and shipping addresses when you checkout. You will receive a full invoice via email and the jewelry will be sent to the shipping address with no payment information.
All jewelry ships in beautiful silver and black gift boxes and are gift ready.

My discount coupon won't work.
Coupons are case sensitive. Double check that you have entered your code correctly and that it has not passed it's expiry date. Contact me for further help, or leave a note in the cart that you would like the discount applied. If the code is valid, I will deduct the value before your credit card is charged, or refund your PayPal account. I will contact you with options if your code is no longer available.

Out of Stock Policy
This is a one-woman operation and I do, on occasion, make mistakes. If the piece you order is out of stock I will contact you as soon as possible to offer and alternative or a refund. Since most items are one-of-a-kind there is little I can do in terms of exact replacements.

Incorrect Billing Details Policy
The cart tries to check for billing errors at the time of purchase and will inform you of any mistakes it finds. However, orders with mismatched billing or incorrect shipping address will not be shipped until corrected. I will email you as soon as I see an issue. If you think you have made a mistake, such as leaving off an apartment number, contact me to adjust it.
