Child’s Play 2009
Dec 7th, 2009 by admin
Help a child this season, by contributing to Child’s Play. Created by the writers of Penny Arcade, Child’s Play aims to improve the lives of sick children by providing toys and games to hospitals. With nearly 70 partner hospitals, it’s a wonderfully direct way to spread some cheer. Make the holidays a little brighter for a child by going to a hospital’s wish list and purchasing a toy, game or movie for kids stuck inside this season.
More information about Child’s Play and how to contribute can be found at childsplaycharity.org.
This year I donated a necklace to be auctioned at the Child’s Play Charity Dinner, which is scheduled for December 8th. Valued at $550, it is created from densely woven sterling silver chain maille and segmented by large gold-filled rings.
