April's Birthstone is Quartz

We're already hitting April!

Quartz is one of the most common minerals on earth. Amethyst, chalcedony, carnelian, citrine, rose quartz, smokey quartz and ametrine and all quartzes, defined only by their color differences. Quartz also appears frequently as an inclusion in other minerals. Particular colors of inclusions are also called different things, such as rutilated quartz, tourmalinated quartz and lodolite quartz.

Composed of silica (Silicon Dioxide), quartz forms in crystalline structures as a cluster of points. Quartz is the most powerful crystal there is for healing and amplifying energy. It raises energies submitted to it to the highest level possible, aids concentration, and unlocks memories.

Since it's clear, quartz suits anyone, and can be a subtle addition to any wardrobe. Natural quartz regularly contains fractures which can produce beautiful rainbows in the light.

Fractures are not considered flaws and can enhance the natural beauty of this stone.
